Kevin Busta likes the rust — “the raw, dirty surplus and keeping that grime and rust.” He builds stark, utilitarian furniture out of industrial machinery from scrap yards and old factories in Cleveland. Self-taught as an artist, he found his materials through stints as a sheet metal worker and boilermaker.
